What signals does Flowlines detect out of the box?
Flowlines ships a registry of behavioral signals that fire automatically on every session, including hallucination, cascade_failure, user_frustration, cost_escalation, low_quality_response, session_abandon, policy_violation, and high_latency, plus custom signals you promote from recurring patterns in the discoveries queue.
Signals are the unit of detection in Flowlines. Each one is a named, tunable detector that fires when a session shows a specific behavioral pattern. They run on every session the moment it's ingested, no configuration required.
The out-of-the-box set spans quality (hallucination, low_quality_response), reliability (cascade_failure), experience (user_frustration, session_abandon), efficiency (cost_escalation), performance (high_latency), and compliance (policy_violation). The list grows as new failure patterns show up across design partners.
When you spot a pattern specific to your agent, promote it from the discoveries queue into a custom signal. From then on it's a first-class citizen: it has a rate, a baseline, cohort breakdowns, and can drive alerts.
